Today we were elated to receive a cheque from the TELUS Community Board in support of our Pro-Tech Media Centre. Located in the Toronto Public Library’s Kennedy & Eglinton branch, ProTech provides neighbourhood residents of all ages with
free access to state-of-the-art technology including digital arts
(animation, web design, digital photography, audio and video editing)
and Microsoft curricula and strives introduce youth to potential
careers in new media while providing computer literacy skills and
creating opportunities for self-expression. TELUS' generous donation will provide the centre with upgraded computer equipment.
